DON’T BE DECEIVED BY YOUR BATHROOM SCALES

Scales can measure your weight, but they can’t tell you if your weight is a result of:

· Frame Size
· Well-developed Muscles
· Excess Water Retention
· Excess Body Fat

What really counts is not how much you weigh, but how much body fat you have. You can’t determine your body fat level by stepping on the scale or by looking at your reflection in the mirror.

BODY FAT ANALYSIS

HEALTHY LIFESTLYES Weight Management program uses Bio-impedence Technology to determine body composition. Measuring yor body’s fat content with the ElectroLipoGraph (ELG) can tell you what a scale cannot tell you—the portion of your weight that is the body fat and that which is lean tissue. The technology of measuring body fat and lean body mass enables your counselor to monitor your body composition changes while losing weight and exercise program when needed. ELG testing is done periodically throughout your program to provide your counselor with the best possible tool to help you reduce your excess stored fat and established good eating habits.

The ELG is a quick and simple test that produces a computer printout which tells your:

· Percentage & Weight of Body Fat
· Percentage & Weight of Body Tissue
· Basal Metabolic Rate
· Number of Calories Needed per Day
· Aerobic Training Heart Rate
· Calories Burned With Exercise
· Ideal Body Weight Range

With this information your counselor will design an eating program to meet your specific needs whether you want to lose weight or maintain your goal weight. This individualized program will include your favorite foods and fit your special lifestyles.
